Scrooge was a strange, cold and hard man. He didn't like anything or anyone, but he only cared about his money. Anything of any season didn't marry him, especially Christmas. He didn't have any friends, but at the same time, he didn't want to have to. Cold was with him everywhere. He didn't want to be with people. As we learn from chapter 1 in his life he had only one friend that was Bob Marley who died. Another information that we get for Scrooge from chapter 1 is that at Christmas time he was colder than the snow outside. No one liked him and that was good for him. Scrooge was a bad, strange and hard man.

  Years ago Shely and Tina were asked by some friends to look after their house, as they were going away for a week. They left on Sunday morning and that evening the two girls went to turn off the lights, close the curtains and so on. From the time they stepped into the house, the atmosphere got heavy and very oppressive. As they moved around the dining room, to clean up a little bit, they left as though there was someone or something there watching them. That feeling grew even worse when they walked down the corridor. This is where the two girls left the present before. Furthermore, there was a photo of the grandfather on the wall, and he seemed to be staring right through you, which made it even worse. They did what they needed and left as quickly as possible.
  As soon as they stepped out of the house, it felt like they were free. This happened the second day as well when Tina went to open the curtains. That was on Monday. Then on Tuesday again the same thing happened. Suddenly wind was blowing from somewhere, which was too strange because it was summer. Then they saw something in the right corner of the living room, like a woman dressed in white, but when Shelly went closer it disappeared. That was the time that they started worrying. After some minutes they heard footsteps behind them and an arm out of the blue touched Shelly's shoulder. Both of them were terrified, they both felt that they were in a scary movie that didn't have an ending. The only thing thry could do was to run...
